In preparation for their year group charity challenge, last week, Year 5 presented their nominated charities to the year group before voting on the charity that they would support.
All six of the charities were very worthy and deserving of our help and it was a very difficult decision to make. The Year 5s spoke with passion and enthusiasm about each charity and I was utterly impressed with how accomplished they are as speakers.
The nominated charities were:
- Team Trees
- The RSPCA
- The WWF
- CCHS
- Macmillan Cancer Support
- Diabetes UK
The voting was incredibly tight but in the end, the WWF was chosen as the Year 5 charity.
