We are so excited as a school to be getting our new Well-Being Hub up and running as much as possible this term. It has been a wonderful project in the making and one that we hope will make a difference to the whole Amesbury community; pupils, parents and staff alike.
From the middle of next week, the Hub will be managed by many highly empathetic staff, both teaching and non-teaching who have a passion for supporting our children’s emotions. This will happen at as many break times and lunchtimes as possible. Staff have volunteered their free time to get this project underway and support our pupils in the initial phase as a drop in, play or chat centre; whether it be a friendship issue, struggling with work load, or just need to see a friendly face or have a quiet space, each and everyone is welcome. We appreciate staff really supporting Amesbury’s exciting new initiative. There will be plenty for children to do, if they choose, they can simply come along for a natter and a little moral support, have some peace and quiet or play a game or two.
This is a new initiative and one that we hope will benefit everyone.
