Day trips
School trips form an integral part of the school curriculum. The trips are organised to extend the children’s learning and offer curriculum based experiences that can only be found beyond the classroom. Pupils have already been inspired in different ways with our trips this year including those to the London House of Illustration, Winchester Science Museum, Shakespeare Globe, Imperial War Museum, a Buddhist Temple, Marwell Zoo and The Olympic Park.
Prior to such a visit you will be sent information outlining the trip and your consent will be needed. Such excursions usually incur a charge, which is put on the end of term invoice.
Residential Trips
In the first full week of the Michaelmas Term the pupils from Years 7 and 8 participate in a residential trip in their individual year groups. Last year, Year 8 went to Snowdonia, Year 7 to France. Years 5 and 6 participate in a residential trip in the Lent Term.
As well as these there is an annual Chapel Choir Tour, Year 8 head to Ypres and there is also a Year 8 Leavers Trip.
