Lady of the Match: Isabelle Way
This weeks rounders match was played against Hoe Bridge. It was another fantastic match, and thankfully the rain held off just long enough for the match to go ahead!! The match started off with Amesbury fielding first and the girls did a fantastic job, keeping the oppositions score to a minimum. It was their great teamwork and quick thinking under pressure that helped them with this. Both Maia and Iona were an example of this teamwork, passing the ball well between each other and managing to get several of the Hoe Bride girls out! Amesbury also showed off some impressive skill while batting, taking some risks that payed off. A big well done to Isabelle Way who battered awesomely, scoring 1.5 rounders off just 3 balls!! Although the girls didn’t come out with the win it was fabulous to see them giving it all their effort and trying their hardest until the end. Well done girls!
