U8A Girls Rounder vs Felton Fleet

Drew 11 1/2 -11 1/2

Fielder of the match -Chloe

Batter of the match – Isobel

Lady of the match – Florence

After winning the toss the girls decided to field first – which was a great tactical decision. We saw some exceptional communication from Florence which helped direct the team as well as quick hands in the bowler position to stop the the other team from scoring. Ysabel made great runs to first post, then stumping the other team out while Chloe was excellent at calling for the ball as well as having fast reactions at second post. Milly did some great backing up at second post and Victoria really looked after the fourth post making it difficult for the other team to score a full rounder. Tamzi was the risk taker in this game and used her speed around the posts, managing to score a few half rounders. Isobel hit every ball bowled to her and definitely hitting them hard which made it possible for her to score rounders for the team. The girls all played well together and put in great amounts of effort. Felton fleet managed to meet our effort, making it evenly matched throughout the whole game resulting in the draw. Well done U8A!!
