Lost 23.5 – 13
Batter of the match: Emily
Fielder of the match: Georgie
Lady of the Match: Lily
It was warm and sunny for this week’s match against Seaford. From the very beginning of the match Amesbury gave it their all, showing off their excellent skills whilst trying their hardest. The girls started off fielding first and quickly realised it was going to be a tough match but they did not let this worry them one bit. Fantastic fielding throughout the match, by Georgie as backstop and Lily as bowler, helped keep Seaford to a total of 23.5 rounders. As well as this, the girl’s batting was very impressive, with some massive hits from Emily helping keep Amesbury’s score close to the oppositions. Although the girls didn’t come out with the win, they all played a fantastic match and stayed positive. Well done girls!
