The Under 11A played Highfield away last Wednesday and unfortunately came up against a very talented side who, after putting us into bat, reduced us to 22 all out. Toby put up some spirited resistance carrying his bat for 10 runs. He may well have gone on, but unfortunately ran out of partners.
We bowled pretty tidily to them, Lucas and Toby in particular, but , inevitably, they soon knocked off the runs for the victory.
Well done to all for keeping going until the end. We must keep improving our defensive technique and our scoring strokes!
