Prep School Lions Football

Congratulations to the following pupils:

U11 – John, Finn R, Milo, Mathew, Hamish, Harry D, Cameron L and Sam W

U12 – Wilf R, George B, Joshua A and Teddy

U13 – Archie P

They all attended trials for the Prep School Lions, and were selected to play in the Development Squads and were given the opportunity to travel to Gothenburg, Sweden for the annual Gothia Cup in the summer. This tournament is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament. Each year, around 1700 teams from 80 nations take part and they play 4500 games on 110 fields.

This is a great achievement from all the boys, and for those attending it will hopefully be an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
