Tennis Player News:
Well done Hayden, Ollie C, Alfie M, Charlie, Maia, Isabelle I, George B and John B who played in the Alton School Mixed Year 5/6 Tennis Tournament. We beat two teams from Alton and Danes Hill to reach the knock out stages. Amesbury then played Amesbury and Ollie C and Hayden beat Charlie and Alfie M in the Final. Both boys won a tube of balls each. It was played in great spirit but Amesbury were far too strong and showed great depth in their team.
ATA School Tennis Tournament:
Doubles Tennis Tournaments and draws need to be played and finished ASAP. We can’t start the Singles Tournament until all matches including Play backs are through to Finals. Please look out and see who you are playing. Games are to 4 games and no advantage; please play a tie break at 3 games all. Please write the score up on the white board next to my desk in the Boys’ Sports Office. Please remember if you get knocked out, you will go backwards and play in the playback tournament. Well done to Year 2 and Year 8 for completing.
Ollie and Harry and Bo and Lara reached the Year 8 Doubles Final. Toby and Rory and George and Tom reached the Year 8 Playback Final. Congratulations!
In Year 2 Henry and Will R beat Aidan and Billy in a close fought battle. The Playback Final was won by Benjamin and William V; they beat Emily, Tessa and Poppy T.
Congratulations to Year 3 for reaching the Finals too with two more girls Rosa and Lucy facing George and Max C, match to be arranged!
