Lost 9-15

Batter of the game: Jasmine
Fielder of the game: Alice

Unfortunately a disappointing match today for the U9A team, against a very strong Cranleigh team. The girls didn’t seem to have their usual focus, with balls dropped, running themselves out and silly passing decisions. Cranleigh really showed us how it should be done, as they demonstrated tight fielding, incredible catches and great communication. As we went into bat, there were some fantastic rounders scored from Jazzy and Alice, to add to the scoresheet. While Elsie also made some great connections. Unfortunately, Cranleigh were too strong for us and they ran away with the game, finishing with a 9-15 win.
Lots to work on for next season girls!
