U11A Rounders v Hoe Bridge

Won 17-8

Batter of the game: Bo
Filder of the game:
Daisy

The U11A girls put in an outstanding performance today, in their last match as a team, against Hoe Bridge to give them an unbeaten season. The girls had a solid first batting innings, with both Daisy scoring with some huge connections into the deep. While Olivia also had a great game, adding 2 1/2 to our scoresheet. Super half rounders were also scored by Gracie and Hannah. As the girls went into field, we once again impressed with our tight game. The communication was great, with Libby and Gracie working so well together and successfully stumping out a number of players. Bo and Daisy played a steady game in the Deep and went from strength to strength, making great catches and sending the ball promptly where needed.
At half time the score was 9 1/2 – 5. Although winning, the girls knew that they could increase this. They didn’t disappoint. The second innings finished at an impressive 17-8 thanks to their continued hard work and focus.
Well done girls on an outstanding year on the games field.
