Amesbury were sent out to bowl on a beautifully sunny afternoon against Belmont this afternoon. There was some impressive bowling from the Amesbury openers with Marko in particularly taking a fine wicket by bowling the opposition opener. Amesbury fielded well on the day and were unlucky not to claim a couple of catches from high balls. Likewise on another day the fielders should have had a couple of run outs had luck been on their side. Belmont were restricted to 84 runs off 10 overs.

Amesbury came to bat with Thomas and Noah getting the early runs on the board. Noah played with an excellent technique showing some impressive cover drives. Ailig and Edward did well with their running in between the wickets and picked up some quick singles. Ben added to the Amesbury total with some lovely boundaries and was well assisted by Max. Finally George did very well to bring the winning runs home for the Amesbury C’s. Amesbury won by 20 runs.
