Amesbury arrived at Highfield on a windy but bright afternoon and were put into bat to start their innings. Excellent bowling meant that Amesbury lost some early wickets with Olly and Raphael leaving the crease early. Sam and Jacob came in to add a few runs to the Amesbury scoreboard and both hit a couple of impressive boundaries. Alex came in towards the end to assist Jacob and attacked the opposition blowing well. Amesbury finished on 76 after 20 overs.

Following a break for tea, Amesbury came out to bowl with the hope of restricting the opposition early. They did so with a fantastic start as Olly opened the bowling attack with an early wicket. He was ably assisted at the other end by Raphael who took 3 wickets during his spell. Sam and Joshua were good in the field with both coming close to getting a run out. Highfield were 11 for 4 after 4 overs following this excellent start from the Amesbury bowlers. Gabriel came in to give the opposition an even harder time taking 5 wickets for 8 runs off 2 overs. Ethan came close to grabbing a wicket of his own with some fine blowing towards the end. Highfield were all out for 23 and Amesbury were winners by 53 runs. Congratulations to the team.
