U11A Rounders v West Hill Park: 26 April

A really fantastic match to kick off the rounders season for the U11A team.  The girls dominated from the outset, with some superb hits into the deep.  Hannah managed to score a whopping 4 rounders from 4 balls making a great impression, while Bo, Daisy and Lara also added to the score sheet on numerous occasions with some lovely powerful connections.

As we went into field, the girls demonstrated sound passing and fielding skills. Hannah and Lara ironed out some initial mishaps, to start stumping out West Hill Park players, between backstop and 1st post.

Gracie and Libby also played confidently as Near Deeps, communicating well and making a strong partnership. Olivia bowled smoothly, making intelligent and quick decisions, to ensure that the West Hill Park players were given little room to score.

All in all, a fantastic first match.  The girls have areas to work on, but have so much to feel confident about moving forward . Very well done.
