The second match of the season was a tough yet great game. After arriving at Edgeborough the girls had a quick warm up before getting straight into play. Amesbury started off fielding, managing to keep the opposition to only 9 rounders for the first innings. Some awesome bowling from Jazzy made it very difficult for Edgeborough’s fantastic batters to be able to score. The fielding and passing between all the girls was also very well done, with some fantastic catches of the ball to get the opposition out.
When it came for Amesbury to bat, the girls gave it their all, hitting the ball as far as they could. Well done to Lissie who was the top scorer for Amesbury and managed to hit the ball all the way into the bushes!!
Although the girls didn’t come out with the win, they all had a fantastic time and tried their hardest. Well done Amesbury!!
