Offering genuine, committed Christian worship
and an understanding of all world religions
Christian inspiration and ideals are fundamental to us, but many pupils come from homes that follow other faiths or have no strong religious affiliation. Our aim is to offer pupils a regular experience of genuine, committed Christian worship, in which all are free to join.
Pupils attend a weekly chapel service with an address given by a member of the Common Room. The Head of RS is responsible for overseeing chapel services.

Harvest Festival
This is a whole school event and parents are warmly invited to attend. The service is held in the Sports Hall towards the end of October. The date is published in the school calendar. The children are encouraged to contribute an offering of food, preferably home grown or locally produced items, as this is consistent with the environmental message that we are trying to communicate to the children.
The produce is donated to Liphook Foodbank and is distributed by the School Prefects.
Carol Service
This is a traditional Carol Service for families in Years 3 to 8. The service is held at St Luke’s Church in Grayshott. The children are involved through readings and the Chapel Choir perform.
Easter Service
This is a whole school event and parents are invited to attend. The service is held in the Sports Hall and is usually led by the Head of RS. The date is published in the school calendar.
Choral Evensong
This is a special service, held once a term, for Years 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and 7 and 8. Choral Evensong is more formal than the weekly chapel service and includes an anthem or hymn sung by one of the school choirs.
It is a lovely occasion that enables all members of the school community, children, teachers and parents, to gather at the end of the school day to worship God. The date and time of the service is published in the school calendar.
